Chemistry Talks for Schools
Since the start of September, over 150 schools in the UK have received a visit from ChemNet. RSC staff and ChemNet Ambassadors (trained RSC members under 35) have talked to huge numbers of chemistry students from ages 15 upwards about the benefits of joining ChemNet whilst offering a short talk (about 30 minutes) opening their eyes to careers using chemistry.

Competition
The work of engineers, technologists and architects and how they have designed the world around us is the focus of an Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) competition for 11-19 year olds across the UK.
Part of the IET’s Faraday programme, a resource for teachers of science, technology, engineering and maths, the competition calls for young people to make a short film about the sustainable environment and technologies.
