The Rochester Bridge Trust have arranged a private screening of Hidden Figures at Rochester Cineworld Cinema to celebrate International Women in Engineering Day. The story, which the film was, based on a team of African-American women mathematicians/engineers who served a vital role in NASA during the early years of the US space program: www.imdb.com/title/tt4846340.
The event is on Friday 23 June 2017, 4.00pm arrivals for a 4.30pm screening. The event is open to all Secondary schools and colleges from Kent, Medway and Old Kent (Bexley and Bromley) where schools can book up to 5 tickets for aspiring engineers in Year 11, Sixth Formers and Teachers. The event is for boys and girls, male and female teachers.
