Poster Competition: Can you make a poster of what you think transport will look like in the future?

 March 23 2017

The Institution of Civil Engineers for South East England, Kent and East Sussex Graduates and Students Group has just launched a poster competition with the theme of “future transport”, proudly sponsored by The Rochester Bridge Trust and is open to any children aged between 4 and 16.

Now is the time to be thinking “future transport” with your pictures and designs of what you think the future transport is going to look like. However transport in the broadest sense, it is entirely up to the child’s imagination.

What are the rules?

  1. Posters must be no bigger than A4 size
  2. They must show your idea of the future transport in the world
  3. You must put your name, age and what school you go to (and its address) on the back of the poster - so we can tell you if you win!
  4. You must have made the poster yourself.

How to enter?

  1. Once you have created your poster, post it to ICE Poster Competition, 11 The Street, West Hougham, Dover, CT15 7BB.
  2. Entries must be received by 19th May 2017.
  3. The competition will be split into two categories: Primary Schools and Secondary Schools.
  4. Each age group will have a First and Second Prize, with three further highly commended posters.

FIRST PRIZE : £50 Amazon Voucher

SECOND PRIZE : £25 Amazon Voucher

All winning and highly commended prizes will receive a certificate of their achievement from the Institution of Civil Engineers and The Rochester Bridge Trust.
