The world we live in is changing. Many of today’s children will need to be tomorrow’s innovators – the engineers who solve the impossible and build the unimaginable. Yet currently in the UK we have a massive shortage of engineers. So through our Year of Engineering campaign, Atkins is hoping to inspire Britain's young, creative minds to start thinking and asking questions about STEM careers like engineering.
Children never stop creating. Just like engineers!
Children just naturally enjoy building, working things out and experimenting with the world around them. We believe every child should have the opportunity to carry this love into their careers. So Atkins have created ‘Engine Ears’ – an animation aimed at primary-aged pupils, to get them thinking about what engineering actually means and how exciting it really is.
Help us spread the news
Please inspire an engineer today by sharing our animation with all your contacts, children, friends, parents, teachers and school-heads.
