Kent and Medway
Pupils from Castle Community College in Deal recently took part in an engineering challenge to build a lighthouse out of K’NEX.
They started off the day with a session on sea safety by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and were given the task to research, design and to make their ideas come to life by building the finished product.
The models were then presented and judged. The pupils created some wonderful designs and enjoyed the day thoroughly.
