Kent and Medway
On the 14th of March at Canterbury Christ Church University 20 gifted and talented pupils from Chaucer Technology College had an exciting opportunity to attend a practical chemistry session run by a STEM Ambassador using steam distillation to extract natural products from plants.
The feedback from the pupils was all very positive and they all enjoyed the practical sessions. This activity was run as part of the International Year of Chemistry – this is a year long celebration in which anyone can participate.
