Keynote Speaker: Sue Martin

Can teachers utilise ‘Show’ presentation ideas effectively in the classroom? Many schools engage scientists and/or performers to deliver sessions that excite children about science. Do these improve children’s understanding and working scientifically skills, or are these really just a show? Based around an assembly/science day show that I have delivered on many occasions ('The Air Show'), this keynote shares some large scale practical activities that engage children of all ages and discusses the value of exciting and memorable learning experiences that are easy for teachers to deliver themselves.

Organised by Andrew Berry (KCC) and Hellen Ward (CCCU). There will be more than 5 different workshop sessions to select from – from early years to the end of Key Stage 2.

These sessions will be led by national leaders in science.
